SHOWING IN CLUB 69 FLIRTS

ON STAURDAY 6TH AND SUNDAY 7TH APRIL, 2024

FROM MIDNIGHT

CONFIRMED MATCHES NIGHT 1

Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins vs. The Rock & Roman Reigns: One of the biggest matches in WrestleMania history is official. There are so many story threads in this tag team match. There is a world champion on each side of the field. Reigns will team up with his cousin, The Rock. Rhodes unites with the first great rival of his latest WWE run, Rollins. Then there's the long history between Reins and Rollins who started their main roster career together in The Shield. The outcome of the Night 1 main event will have implications on Night 2. If Rhodes and Rollins win, The Bloodline will be banned from ringside when Reigns and Rhodes go one-on-one for the undisputed title. If Rock and Reigns win, however, The Bloodline is free to interfere with Sunday's main event as they please.

Intercontinental Championship -- Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn: Zayn shed his recent losing streak but he has a huge obstacle ahead of him. Zayn survived a six-superstar gauntlet on the March 11 episode of Raw to earn a title shot against Gunther. But Gunther, deep into a record-setting intercontinental title reign, looks like an insurmountable challenge for anyone. The two will go one-on-one at WrestleMania, both coming off tremendous showings at last year's tentpole event.

Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair & Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (Asuka, Dakota Kai & Kairi Sane): Welcome to WrestleMania, Cargill. The potential future main event player will make her second in-ring WWE appearance following her debut at the Royal Rumble in January in a six-woman tag team match. Naomi and Belair overcame weeks of friction and agreed to take the fight to Damage CTRL. The numbers disadvantage was evened out on the March 29 episode of SmackDown as Cargill saved her new allies from a three-on-two beatdown.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso: A match between the Uso twins has been a seemingly sure thing since Jey split from The Bloodline. They were the first two men in the ring at the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania is a time for paying off big stories. It would be easy to get to this match by having Jimmy cost Jey the intercontinental title in a recently teased Jey Uso vs. Gunther match, allowing the two to become entangled as The Rock and Roman Reigns amp up the family aspects of The Bloodline story once again. Jey laid out the challenge to Jimmy on the March 11 episode of Raw and awaits an answer from his twin brother. Jimmy accepted the challenge in a heated promo on the following episode of SmackDown.

Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio & Santos Escobar: Rey enlisted young luchador Lee in his feud with estranged son Dominik and pupil-turned-rival Escobar. The masked superstars challenged their foes to a tag team match at WrestleMania 40.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship -- Judgment Day (c) vs. #DIY vs. The New Day vs. Awesome Truth vs. A-Town Down vs. New Catch Republic (Six-Pack Ladder match): The Judgement Day have their plates full. Raw general manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis announced a six-pack ladder match for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 40. Three Raw teams and two SmackDown teams qualified for the match. #DIY, The New Day and Awesome Truth all qualified for the match by winning matches on Raw. A-Town Down (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) and New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate) won tournaments to qualify as representatives of SmackDown.

Women's World Championship -- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch: Lynch has been battling confidence issues over the past few months, coming up short in big matches. That all changed when Lynch won the Elimination Chamber to earn her title shot. Ripley had to fend off a stiff challenge from Nia Jax at the Chamber event but pulled off the win in her home country.

CONFIRMED MATCHES NIGHT 2

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship -- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes: For the second consecutive year, it's Reigns vs. Rhodes at WrestleMania. After winning the Royal Rumble again, Rhodes made it clear he was coming for Reigns to "finish the story." That plan was sidelined when Rhodes stepped aside and handed the Reigns match over to The Rock. Fan backlash to the idea of Rhodes' two-year-long story was strong and it appears that pushed WWE to pivot back to Rhodes getting his match with Reigns. At the WrestleMania 40 kickoff, Reigns and Rock celebrated their upcoming match, with Rock suddenly on good terms with Reigns. Rhodes interrupted, said he got to make the decision, not Reigns, and said he was coming after the Tribal Chief. The Rock later announced Rhodes would never again receive an undisputed WWE universal title shot if he lost to Reigns.

WWE Women's Championship -- Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley: Bayley was the winner of this year's women's Royal Rumble. Now, she faces one of her former Damage CTRL teammates in Sky. Despite creating Damage CTRL, Bayley had been on the outs with the group for quite some time. While Bayley hinted at challenging Rhea Ripley for the women's world title, Nia Jax stepped in and scared her off, leading to Bayley challenging Sky and fighting off all of Damage CTRL.

United States Championship -- Logan Paul (c) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens: Paul is going to have his hands full. The U.S. champion shunned SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis for failing to find him a WrestleMania opponent, so Aldis found him two. Paul will defend his title in a triple-threat match against Orton and Owens. The social media influencer has long had issues with Owens. Paul got on Orton's bad side after costing him a world title opportunity at WrestleMania by laying him out with brass knuckles at the Elimination Chamber.

LA Knight vs. AJ Styles: The rivalry between Knight and Styles has been simmering ever since Styles returned to action in December. Styles took issue with Knight's rise to stardom, which coincided with Styles' hiatus at the hands of The Bloodline. Styles accused Knight of stepping over his cold body and taking everything that he was entitled to. Styles cost Knight a world heavyweight title match at the Elimination Chamber. Knight has been on a manhunt ever since. Knight laid out the challenge to Styles on the March 15 episode of SmackDown. Styles accepted with a steel chair to the back.

The Final Testament (Karrion Kross & Authors of Pain) vs. Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) (Philadelphia Street Fight): The two factions have been brawling for months. The Final Testament cost Street Profits a spot in the undisputed tag team title six-pack ladder match at WrestleMania. Kross berated Lashley for letting his pride get in the way of his pupils' success and boasted about crushing Street Profits' WrestleMania dreams. WWE announced a Philadelphia Street Fight between the two factions, an appropriate way to end their long-running feud.

World Heavyweight Championship -- Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre: McIntyre has been on fire of late, taking issue with anyone and everyone who questions his methods. Those methods have involved increasingly opportunistic behavior as he looks to become a world champion once again. McIntyre took advantage of yet another situation when an already-eliminated Logan Paul knocked out Randy Orton with brass knuckles in the Elimination Chamber, allowing McIntyre to score the pin and punch his ticket to a match with Rollins at WrestleMania.

HIGHLIGHTS

RESULTS NIGHT 1

Women's World Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Becky Lynch: The commentators revealed pre-match that Lynch is dealing with strep throat and a fever. Ripley's power advantage was evident early. The champion hoisted up her challenger with an impressive deadlift suplex, plus a trio of powerbombs. Lynch found moments of success but barely slowed the sinister, almost unstoppable champion. Lynch spiked Ripley with a tornado DDT and tossed her overhead into a barricade with the Becksploder. It barely slowed the champ. A Riptide attempt countered into a Manhandle Slam was Lynch's first near fall. A wonderful series of chain wrestling ended with Ripley hitting a Riptide that failed to put the challenger away. A visually stunning spot saw Ripley lift Lynch onto her shoulders for the electric chair. Both women went over the top ropes but Ripley landed on her feet and completed the move on the floor. A follow-up frog splash -- a nod to her storyline boyfriend Dominik Mysterio -- scored her another near fall.

The champ grew increasingly frustrated by Lynch's stubbornness but kept her composure in key moments. The veteran Lynch did her best work when leaning on her experience. "The Man" targeted Ripley's compromised left arm early and often. Each time it brought her closer to locking in her signature Disarm-Her move, but the champ had it well scouted. A brutal ending saw Ripley land two consecutive Riptides, the first into the corner buckle, to put down Lynch for good. Ripley and Lynch produced a solid opening match, made more impressive by Lynch's compromised health. It won't live up to Charlotte Flair vs. Ripley from last year but it was a spirited contest that struck a balance between Ripley's dominance and Lynch's fire. Ripley def. Lynch to retain the women's world title.

Undisputed Tag Team Championship: Judgment Day (c) vs. #DIY vs. The New Day vs. Awesome Truth vs. A-Town Down Under vs. New Catch Republic (Six-Pack Ladder Match): This was an expectedly chaotic match heavy on spots and light on storytelling. The first major spot was an impressive feat of strength. Tyler Bate sandwiched Balor between his shoulders and a ladder, spinning in circles and taking out Kofi Kingston with the human-metal sandwich. New Catch Republic subsequently climbed a ladder outside, launching synchronized moonsaults that took out their 10 opponents.

R-Truth's comedy spot had him mistaking the match for a traditional tag match. He got the hot tag from The Miz, took out Finn Balor with John Cena's move set and tried to pin his opponent. #DIY – who made their entrance themed as D-Generation X – took out the champs with Sweet Chin Music and an upgraded Pedigree. #DIY and Awesome Truth agreed to go for separate tag titles, incorporating the stipulation that each set of titles had to be retrieved separately. A-Town Down Under spoiled their plans before capturing the SmackDown tag team titles to become new champions. Their celebration was short-lived as New Catch Republic powerbombed Waller from the ring through a ladder laid out ringside.

The most visually stunning spot was Kofi Kingston's thrilling trust fall off the ladder, leaping backwards from the ring onto his opponents' ringside. Gargano put Pete Dunne through a table with a tornado DDT from the apron onto the floor. Tommaso Ciampa brutalized Bate with an Air Raid Crash off the ladder. JD McDonagh interfered in the match to try and assist his Judgement Day teammates in retrieving one set of their titles but paid the price. New Day tipped McDonagh off the ladder as he flung forward through two tables positioned ringside.

Things were trending in an exciting direction but it was completely derailed by issues late. Priest and The Miz blundered a climatic spot atop the ladder, possibly due to damaged equipment. Priest had to retrieve a new ladder leading to the finish. R-Truth got some long overdue revenge on Priest but took way too long milking the finish. It killed any tension left in the finale. Truth winning his first WrestleMania match elated fans and the superstars deserve a standing ovation for putting their bodies on the line in creative ways. It's too bad the finish fell apart and A-Town Down Under was an unpopular choice to win the SmackDown titles. A-Town Down Under won the SmackDown tag team titles. Awesome Truth wins the Raw tag team titles.

Rey Mysterio & Andrade vs. Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio: WrestleMania 40 hosted a celebration of modern lucha libre. Rey's high-flying, Andrade's dynamic strikes, Escobar's power grappling and Dominik's scheming were each on display. The four superstars of Mexican descent collided with several storylines connecting them. There was the ugly father-son rivalry between Rey and Dominik, and the mentor vs. pupil angle between Rey and Escobar. There is also an interesting wrinkle between Andrade and Escobar with the latter spiritually filling Andrade's role when he left WWE in 2021.

A unique attack early saw Rey sit on Andrade's shoulders before the pair launched onto their opponent's ringside with a stacked double crossbody. Dominik and Escobar isolated the smallest man for much of the match until Andrade stormed the field. Rey hit a 619 while Escobar flattened Dominik with a moonsault to the floor. The bout deteriorated into madness as LWO and Legado Del Fantasma got involved. Joaquin Wilde notably hit his now trademark slingshot splash from the apron to the entranceway.

"Get the chair! Bash his brains out! I don't care!" Escobar commanded Dominik late in the match.

Dominik was intercepted by two enormous masked men -- later revealed to be Philadelphia Eagles players Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson. Mysterio hit a double-619 followed by a top rope splash on Escobar for the win. There wasn't much juice on this match leading in and it served as a nice cool down spot. The Kelce-Johnson cameo was bound to happen and this was the most inoffensive match to do it. It's nice to see Andrade and Escobar on the card but it feels like they had so much more to give. Rey Mysterio and Andrade def. Escobar and Dominik Mysterio via pinfall.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso: The brother vs. brother rivalry was a deliberate but tepid affair. Eight months of twin brother tension got off on the right note as Jey barreled into Jimmy with a suicide dive before the match even started. That pace was quickly replaced by a methodical one. Bitter older brother Jimmy hit Jey with a volley of super kicks and plenty of taunting in between. The twins exchanged stiff punches as the crowd alternated between chants of "Yeet!" and "No Yeet!"

Jey got a measure of revenge as the match progressed, punishing big bro with several superkicks. The most emphatic was a running, jumping kick that caught Jimmy square on the jaw.

A torn expression washed over Jey as he battled between hesitation and a desire for revenge. Jey launched for a finishing blow but stopped as Jimmy covered up. Jimmy apologized and begged his brother for forgiveness. The match came to a screeching halt as Jey processed the situation. Jey helped Jimmy to his feet but it was a ruse. Jimmy cracked Jey with a super kick and an Uso splash but only managed a two-count. An enraged Jey tore through Jimmy with a spear and sealed the deal with an Uso splash.

I can't quite put my finger on it but the match felt flat. For a match structured on emotion, it was shockingly devoid of it. It might have been the tepid build towards the match. Maybe it was Jey's recent stagnation or Jimmy never really finding his stride after the brothers split. The pace was very slow considering how short the match was. They might have benefited from an even, fast-paced match with a truncated slow-burn ending. After all, these brothers know each other inside and out. Unfortunately, the match was structured as a super kick fest with lots of yelling. Jey Uso def. Jimmy Uso via pinfall

Bianca Belair, Naomi & Jade Cargill vs. Damage CTRL (Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai): Damage CTRL was a well-oiled unit but even they couldn't endure the oncoming storm. Sane took to the sky early in the match, laying out Naomi with an Insane Elbow. The trio kept Naomi at bay with their synchronized offense. Belair eventually made the hot tag but it was only a minor inconvenience to the women's tag team champs and Kai. Momentum only changed when Cargill stepped into the ring. The powerhouse took out each of her three opponents with ease. Damage CTRL completely fell apart from there. Asuka accidentally spat poison mist in Sane's face, Belair whipped Asuka with a gunshot-like pony tail and Cargill put Kai away with her Jaded finishing move.

It was a short, simple and effective match highlighting Cargill's strengths while hiding her inexperience. The only gripe is how weak Belair and Naomi were made to look to make Cargill look like a superstar. It won't be a Match of the Night contender but that was never the point. It accomplished what it set out to do efficiently and for that, it gets a solid grade. Cargill, Belair and Naomi def. Damage CTRL via pinfall.

Intercontinental Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Sami Zayn: Even great generals make strategic errors. Gunther set the standard as the longest-reigning intercontinental champion but his pride was his downfall at WrestleMania. WWE did a masterful job of making Zayn feel like a bigger and more believable underdog than ever. WWE shot a live, behind-the-scenes segment that beautifully leaned into the match's Rocky motifs. Zayn was greeted by his wife and son backstage. His coach Chad Gable shared words of encouragement before reminding Zayn that he was owed a favor, teasing a potential title match between the two. The camera followed Zayn from behind as he walked towards the gorilla position. Waiting for him was his dear friend Kevin Owens, with whom he won the tag team titles in the main event of WrestleMania Night 1 last year. They hugged before Zayn hit the entranceway to a chorus of fans singing his theme song.

Zayn's fire burned bright at the start of the match. He ducked and dodged Gunther's offense, keeping the champion on the back foot. Everything was going to plan before Gunther snatched Zayn mid-air and planted him with a German suplex. "The Ring General" started his slow dissection of the challenger as the crowd broke into dueling chants for the superstars. Gunther turned Zayn's chest red with cracking chops. The commentators theorized that speed and endurance would be Zayn's keys to winning, but Zayn surprised everyone with his fire. The plucky underdog threw volleys of strikes at the champion. The salvos stunned the champ, but Gunther would take a mile each time Zayn won an inch. Clubbing clotheslines and suffocating submission holds wilted the challenger.

Zayn kicked out of a huge running kick and stacked powerbomb that irritated the champion. Gunther toyed with Zayn, cracking him with Zayn's finishing move the Helluva Kick. Zayn intercepted Gunther with an even better Helluva Kick that nearly won him the title. Gunther punished Zayn with more powerbombs than I could count. A pair of powerbombs wasn't enough to seal the win for Gunther but it succeeded in breaking the champion's concentration. Gunther exhibited a heightened viciousness, punishing Zayn with more powerbombs and top rope splashes than I could count. Instead of going for the win, however, Gunther repeatedly taunted Zayn's wife ringside. Gunther's hubris doomed him. Zayn clocked Gunther with a Helluva Kick to the top rope, a spiked brainbuster into the buckle and two more Helluva Kicks to end Gunther's 666-day reign as intercontinental champion.

This was a masterclass from the lead-up to the finish. WWE took a storyline that fans overlooked at a glance and turned it into a beautiful ode to Rocky. No one thought Zayn would win when the match was first announced but he was a live dog by showtime. Their in-ring pedigree lived up to expectations. A fantastic build, a fantastic match and a fantastic finish deserve a fantastic grade. Zayn def. Gunther to win the intercontinental title.

Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins vs. The Rock & Roman Reigns: After lengthy entrances and introductions, the four men stared each other down in the center of the ring before Rollins and Reigns were the two to start the match in the ring. Rollins tagged Rhodes in after a short opening segment with Reigns. Rhodes and Reigns tested each other out a bit until a blind tag by Rollins led Reigns to tag The Rock in for the first time in the match. Rock tossed Rollins but Rollins came back by quickly stringing together some chain wrestling before shoving Rock in the back. Rock removed any worry about holds by taking it to Rollins with punches before turning toward Rhodes and asking him to tag in, which Rhodes obliged.

Rhodes took the fight to Rock before tagging Rollins back in with the pair double-teaming Rock and then taking out Reigns after Reigns tried to rush the ring for the save. Things then broke down into a brawl between all four men, with Reigns and Rhodes battling up the entranceway and Rock and Rollins battling outside the ring. The Rock then told the referee if he performed any sort of count-out, he would be fired, allowing him to take the fight with Rollins out into the crowd.

After the action eventually made its way back to the ring, Reigns blindsided Rollins, hitting him in the knee. Rock and Reigns then methodically worked over Rollins' knee. Rollins was further isolated after Rhodes was knocked from the apron and Rock and Reigns were able to continue illegally double-team because Rock had already threatened the referee. The Rock also delivered a blatant low blow to Rollins, forcing the referee to apologize to Rhodes in the corner for his inability to do anything. After Rollins hit a desperate enzuigiri, Reigns knocked Rhodes off the apron to prevent the tag. Rollins again had to fight through a bad situation before hitting a stomp on The Rock before finally tagging Rhodes back in. Rhodes hit a Cody Cutter on Reigns for a near fall and then tried for Cross Rhodes but Reigns counter and hit a Superman punch for a two count.

Rhodes and Rollins hit a quick series of big moves, culminating in a Rollins splash to again nearly score the win. Rhodes and Rollins hit a series of superkicks on Reigns, followed by a Rollins stomp and Cross Rhodes from Rhodes, but The Rock dragged the referee from the ring before he could complete the three-count. Reigns hit a distracted Rhodes with a low blow and a spear but again Rhodes kicked out. Reigns locked in a guillotine choke and Rock held Rhodes' legs down from outside the ring to prevent a break only for Rollins to stomp on Reigns' face. The Rock nearly hit Rhodes with a People's Elbow, but Rhodes countered with a Cody Cutter and nearly Cross Rhodes only to get hit with a Superman punch from Reigns. Rollins then pulled Rhodes out of the way, leading Reigns to spear The Rock. Rhodes and Rollins hit stereo Pedigrees but both Rock and Reigns kicked out. Rhodes put Rock through an announce table with a Rock Bottom and Reigns drove Rollins through the ringside barricade with a spear, leaving all four men down.

Rollins hit Cross Rhodes on Reigns twice but as he went for a third, Rock whipped him from behind with a weight belt. Reigns then tagged The Rock in, Rock hit a Rock Bottom and People's Elbow for the three count to end the match. The match went nearly 50 minutes and at times felt every minute that long. Toward the end, things finally got clicking and it led to a solid finish. The Rock & Roman Reigns def. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins

RESULTS NIGHT 2

World Heavyweight Championship -- Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre: McIntyre hit a Claymore as soon as the bell rang, leading to a quick near fall. McIntyre took the fight to Rollins on the floor with a belly-to-belly suplex before driving him into the ring post but Rollins came back with a pedigree before a stomp as McIntyre reentered the ring. Rollins countered another Claymore with a second Pedigree and then a second stomp for a two-count. Rollins' injured knee repeatedly troubled him throughout the match, including when he missed a stomp from the top rope, allowing McIntyre to hit a Future Shock DDT for his own near fall. McIntyre taunted CM Punk on commentary by signaling for the Go To Sleep but Rollins escaped only to be struck by another Claymore for yet another near fall. Rollins delivered yet another stomp, this time on the commentary desk and moments later McIntyre hit yet another Claymore but again was unable to get the pin. Another Claymore followed, however, and McIntyre scored the pin to win the championship. These two packed a lot in here, hitting finishers at an exceptionally high rate before McIntyre finally picked up the win, getting a world title win at WrestleMania in front of fans, something he did not get to experience when winning the title at WrestleMania in 2020. Drew McIntyre def. Seth Rollins via pinfall to win the title.

World Heavyweight Championship -- Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Damian Priest: After the match, McIntyre went to the commentary desk and celebrated while jawing at CM Punk. After some back and forth, Punk swept McIntyre's legs out, causing him to fall on the desk. Punk took off the brace on his arm and smashed McIntyre in the face with it. This brought Priest running out from the back with his Money in the Bank briefcase. After smashing the briefcase on McIntyre's head, Priest cashed in, hit the South of Heaven chokeslam and pinned McIntyre to win the championship. Not much of a match to "grade" here, but the way this will fuel McIntyre's issues with Punk is certainly intriguing. Damian Priest def. Drew McIntyre via pinfall to win the title.

The Final Testament (Karrion Kross & Authors of Pain) vs. Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) (Philadelphia Street Fight): Final Testament quickly took out The Street Profits allowing them to triple team Lashley with kendo sticks. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins tried to get back in the action only to take their own beatings from the AOP.. After B-Fab and Scarlett both got involved, The Pride made their comeback with Lashley eventually locking in the Hurt Lock on Kross only for Scarlett to interfere again to make the save. Kross drove Lashley into a chair with a DDT but only got a two-count from special guest referee Bubba Ray Dudley, leading Kross to shove Dudley. Kross was then speared by Lashley. Dudley then instructed Lashley and the Profits on how to finish off the match, eventually leading to them getting tables -- the first of which broke as soon as Kross was placed on it -- and a Ford frogsplash to put Kross through the second finished things off. The match was a mess, and not in a fun way. Snoop Dogg on commentary was an active distraction and everything was clunky and did not work at all. Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits def. The Final Testament via pinfall.

LA Knight vs. AJ Styles: Styles went after Knight's knee from the early moments of the match, grounding him and slowing things down. Knight quickly turned things around with some clotheslines and kicks before a superplex was countered, allowing Styles to take things back over. Knight hit a German suplex from the top rope but shortly after, Styles was back in control, again working over Knight's knee, including wrapping it around the ring post. After Knight fought back, he removed some of the ringside padding but Styles reversed a piledriver into a backdrop and nearly won by countout. Knight countered a springboard 450 by getting his knees up, Styles countered a BFT, nearly hitting a Styles Clash but Knight had a counter of his own. Moments later, Knight countered Styles again, this time setting up the match-winning BFT. The match was nothing special but was, at the same time, perfectly fine as a wrestling match. Knight was the right guy to get the win since he needed the boost and Styles is in the club of WWE's "made guys." LA Knight def. AJ Styles via pinfall.

United States Championship -- Logan Paul (c) vs. Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton: Paul immediately slid out of the ring, telling Owens and Orton to fight. Instead, the challengers followed him outside and delivered punches and chops before taking turns bouncing his head bouncing Paul's head off the ring apron. Orton and Owens continued the double teaming until finally realizing it would have to break down into a fight when both tried to pin Paul. Orton tried to sneak in an RKO on Owens but was fought off and they agreed to "do it now" and started to brawl. Paul took advantage with a double clothesline and the match fully picked up into a standard triple threat flow. Paul eventually tried for a top rope superplex but was countered by Owens into a huge power slam for a two-count.Owens tried to follow up with a stunner on Orton but Orton countered into an RKO for a two-count. Paul reentered the ring with the brass knuckles but Orton avoiding the first attempt to use the weapon before landing his second shot. Despite using the brass knuckles, Paul could only keep Orton down for a two count. Paul then tagged Owens with the knux before trying to hit Orton again, only to be hit with an RKO. Orton took the knux but chose to give them to the referee instead of using them and set up for the punt but streamer IShowSpeed, inside the Prime mascot costume pulled Paul from the ring. Orton hit IShowSpeed with an RKO on the commentary desk. The chaos led to Paul hitting Owens with a huge frog splash for the three count. Overbooked in the right way, the match did what it needed to do, though Paul involving streamers the bulk of the audience -- outside of the youngest demographic -- are unlikely to know will always kind of miss the level of impact they're going for. Logan Paul def. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton to retain the title.

WWE Women's Championship -- Iyo Sky (c) vs. Bayley: Bayley hit a dive on Sky early in the match and began to limp. Moments later, Sky took advantage, ramming Bayley's leg into the ring post and locking her in a modified single crab hanging off the ring apron. Sky continued to keep the pressure on Bayley and her injured leg, at one point knocking her from the top rope where her leg was caught between the top and middle turnbuckles. This led to Sky hitting a top-rope moonsault onto Bayley, who was standing outside the ring. Bayley had to fight off some still offense from Sky, including a German suplex that landed Bayley very high on her neck. Bayley then blocked a moonsault by getting her injured leg up for the counter. Sky locked in a crossface before transitioning to an STF to again put pressure on Bayley's leg but Bayley survived before hitting the Bayley-to-Belly for a two-count. The two brawled before a big backbreaker and moonsault from Sky, but Bayley kicked out before the referee counted three. Sky hit another moonsault and went for another but Bayley rolled out of the way before Sky countered a Rose Plant. Bayley came back with a back suplex and an elbow drop before finally hitting the Rose Plant for the three count. Really, really good stuff in this one, telling a story throughout the match before Bayley finally got her much-deserved WrestleMania moment. Bayley def. Iyo Sky to win the title.

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship -- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes (Bloodline Rules Match): As the arena filled with "Cody" chants, the two men slowly looked around before meeting in the center of the ring for a staredown. Rhodes locked Reigns up  from behind but ate an elbow and was dropped seconds later by a shoulder block. Rhodes got rolling a bit before moving out of the way of a Reigns spear in the corner, sending Reigns shoulder-first into the ring post. Rhodes slid a table into the ring but Reigns hit a drive-by and slid the table back under the ring. Reigns continued to slide away when Rhodes had an advantage, eventually leading to Reigns grabbing a kendo stick and delivering several shots. Reigns continued to exploit the lack of disqualifications, digging into Rhodes' eyes to break a figure-four.

The fight spilled out into the crowd, with the pair brawling before Rhodes hit a suplex on an equipment platform. After getting back into the ring, Reigns countered a Disaster Kick into a powerbomb. From there, the match slowed a bit, with Reigns largely taking over the cation in the ring until both men were simultaneously dropped by clotheslines. Rhodes made a big comeback culminating in a powerslam and a Disaster Kick for a two-count. Rhodes came back by hitting Rhodes with his own Cross Rhodes for a near fall. As they went back outside the ring, Reigns hit a low blow and a powerbomb through the commentary desk, throwing Rhodes back into the ring and connecting with a Superman punch for another near fall. A Cody Cutter moments later got Rhodes his own two-count. Rhodes also hit a spear for another two-count.

After the spear, Rhodes hit a Cross Rhodes before going for a second only to be superkicked by Jimmy Uso. Reigns hit a Superman punch but Jey Uso ran down, battling with his twin brother before spearing him off the entrance ramp. Back in the ring, Reigns hit a spear but Rhodes managed to kick out. Rhodes drove Reigns out of the ring to break a guillotine choke and speared Reigns through the ringside barricade. Rhodes hit Cross Rhodes twice but was hit by a Samoan Spike from Solo Sikoa as he went for a third. Sikoa dragged Reigns on top of Rhodes but Rhodes again managed to kick out. Reigns and Sikoa hit a combination spear and Samoan Spike but Rhodes managed to kick out yet again before John Cena's music hit and he ran to the ring, knocking Sikoa from the ring and hitting Reigns with an Attitude Adjustment. Cena then put Sikoa through the Spanish commentary desk, which brought out The Rock.

Rock ducked a Cena punch and delivered a Rock Bottom. As Rock took a weight belt off and waited to hit Rhodes, The Shield music hit and Seth Rollins attempted to slide in the ring with a chair but was hit by a Reigns Superman punch. Before Rock could do anything further, The Undertaker's gong sounded and the lights cut out. When they came back on, Undertaker was standing behind Rock and delivered a chokeslam before disappearing after the lights went back out. Rather than attacking Rhodes, Reigns struck Rollins in the back with a chair. Rhodes countered a spear with a kick and delivered a trio of Cross Rhodes before a three count to win the championship.

The match was insanely overbooked but in the best way. The opening stretch felt a bit plodding, in a lot of ways that was because everyone knew the mess of interference was coming and it felt like there was no way anything too meaningful could happen before we saw Jimmy Uso, Sikoa and The Rock. Rhodes getting help from Jey Uso, Cena, Rollins and The Undertaker was the kind of wild mess that only makes sense at WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes def. Roman Reigns to win the title.
