CONFIRMED MATCHES
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship -- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar (Last Man Standing Match): For years, WWE has gone back to Reigns vs. Lesnar to top major cards. They've returned to that well once again by having Lesnar return after Reigns beat Riddle to retain his undisputed championship. The two most recently met at WrestleMania, with Reigns getting the win. Now they meet again, this time under Last Man Standing rules. It's the kind of grueling match that sets the winner up to be cashed in on by Money in the Bank contract holder Theory.
United States Championship -- Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory: Lashley beat Theory to win the title at Money in the Bank. Theory's night would get much better by the end of that show, being given a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match and winning the contract. Still, Theory is looking to gain some revenge against Lashley despite having a clear shot to the biggest belts in the company. Lashley, meanwhile, will be looking to build momentum as the holder of a secondary title after previously being in the mix as a world title contender.
Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin: Corbin has taken issue with McAfee's digs on commentary, leading to several confrontations. McAfee finally laid out a challenge for a match at SummerSlam. After the conclusion of Money in the Bank, Corbin attacked McAfee and accepted the match. McAfee has put on several very fun performances in NXT and even had a solid match with Theory at WrestleMania. After beating Theory, McAfee lost an impromptu match to Vince McMahon. Corbin has not won a pay-per-view match -- including being on the losing side of two Survivor Series tag matches -- since December 2019.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship -- The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits: The teams had a brilliant match at Money in the Bank, which was won by The Usos. However, replays showed that Montez Ford's shoulder was actually up at the time of the pin. That was a good enough reason for the rematch to be set up. That's good news for fans as there's potential for an even better match between the teams on the big stage of SummerSlam. With guest referee Jeff Jarrett.
SmackDown Women's Championship -- Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey: Morgan won the Money in the Bank contract and cashed it in hours later, scoring a pin on Rousey after Rousey defeated Natalya to retain the title. That successful cash-in gave Morgan her first run as a WWE champion. Now, she'll have to beat Rousey again, this time without Rousey coming off a grueling win seconds prior.
Raw Women's Championship -- Bianca Belair (c) vs. Becky Lynch: Lynch infamously won the SmackDown title from Belair in less than 30 seconds at last year's SummerSlam. Belair has gotten some revenge by winning the Raw title from Lynch at WrestleMania. Still, Belair now has an opportunity to erase the 2021 SummerSlam debacle. Lynch has taken issue with the fact that she did not get an immediate rematch against Belair after the WrestleMania loss and continued angling for the match until it was finally made official.
Riddle vs. Seth Rollins: Riddle and Rollins have been mixing it up on Raw for weeks. That eventually led to a match being made between the two. Rollins has attacked Riddle multiple times, including hitting him with a pair of stomps after Riddle appeared on Kevin Owens' "KO Show." **POSTPONED**
The Miz vs. Logan Paul: The Miz and Paul teamed at WrestleMania to defeat The Mysterios. After that match, Miz turned on Paul, attacking him and landing a Skull-Crushing Finale. Paul eventually began posting on social media angling for a one-on-one match with Miz. After it was announced Paul had officially signed a WWE contract, the talk amped up with Miz refusing to grant Paul the match. That changed on Raw when Paul appeared on Miz TV and threw down the challenge again while insulting Miz. Miz finally accepted and the SummerSlam clash was officially on.
The Mysterios vs. The Judgement Day (No Disqualification): The Mysterios and Judgement Day have been battling for weeks with Finn Balor and Damian Priest trying to get Dominik Mysterio to join their ranks. After Rey Mysterio beat Balor on Raw and celebrated his 20-year WWE anniversary, Balor, Priest and Rhea Ripley attacked Mysterio backstage, powerbombing him through a table. That set up a no disqualification clash for SummerSlam.

Riddle vs. Seth Rollins: POSTPONED Riddle injured on previous RAW, not cleared to compete
Raw Women's Championship -- Bianca Belair (c) vs. Becky Lynch: Lynch went after Belair's arm early, trying to set the champion up for the Dis-arm-her armbar. Belair fought back with her power game before the match spilled to the outside where she nearly regained momentum only for Lynch to send Belair crashing into the ringside barricade. Lynch continued to cut off Belair's attempts to regain momentum at nearly every turn for a long stretch of the match until Belair was able to hit a counter of her own outside the ring, hitting a facebuster onto the ring apron before managing to suplex Lynch onto the ringside mats. The damage Lynch had done to Belair's arm came into play when Belair tried for a press slam only for her arm to give out, allowing Lynch to hit a Diamond Dust for a near fall. Belair fought back before looking for the K.O.D. Lynch reversed, nearly hooking in the armbar only for Belair to carry her through the ropes and hit the K.O.D. on the floor only as Lynch barely beat the referee's 10-count. As the action returned to the ring, Lynch scored her own near fall with a Manhandle Slam. Belair was able to reverse a superplex moments later, hitting a Spanish fly before another K.O.D. for the pinfall. Lynch and Belair shared a handshake and a hug after the match. A very good way to kick off the show, with Belair having to battle her way through everything Lynch could throw at her and some solid false finishes throughout. Not as good of a match as the two women are capable of, but still entertaining stuff Bianca Belair def. Becky Lynch via pinfall to retain the title
Logan Paul vs. The Miz: Miz looked to show off his wrestling dominance early, working over Paul with basic wrestling exchanges before Paul hit a waistlock takedown and a fireman's carry. Paul then worked a bit of boxing. As Miz retreated to the outside, Paul hit a moonsault from the ring apron to the floor. Miz finally grabbed control of the match with a facebuster onto his knees and a bit of outside interference from Ciampa. Paul got out of the way of a charge into the corner from Miz and hit a blockbuster and several strikes before a running powerslam for a two-count. Paul continued showing off his athleticism, hitting a standing moonsault for another two-count. Ciampa interfered again and was ejected from ringside but refused to leave until AJ Styles' music hit and Styles blindsided Ciampa. Paul then hit a Phenomenal Forearm for another near fall before taking Miz to the commentary table and hitting a frog splash from the top rope through the table. Paul brought Miz back into the ring, but Maryse distracted the referee from making the count. As Miz tried to hit Paul from behind, Paul ducked, nearly causing Miz to collide with Maryse. As Miz backed away, he backed right into Paul, who hit a Skull-Crushing Finale to score the pin. Love him or hate him, Paul looked great, showing out in several big high-spot moments. Grading on a curve that takes into account Paul's inexperience, this was a very big success. Logan Paul def. The Miz via pinfall
United States Championship -- Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Theory: Theory attacked Lashley with the Money in the Bank briefcase before the match started. Despite the attack, Lashley told the referee to ring the bell and Theory quickly took advantage, hitting a blockbuster and some strikes before Lashley was able to hit a back elbow and a huge slam to force Theory to bail from the ring. Theory then grabbed his briefcase and tried to leave the match only to be stopped by Lashley, who threw Theory into the ringside barricade twice before throwing Theory back into the ring. Shortly thereafter, Lashley locked in the Hurt Lock to force Theory to tap out. This was a short match, which was needed after only two matches in the first hour, but there wasn't much to chew on. Bobby Lashley (c) def. Theory via pinfall to retain the title
The Judgement Day vs. The Mysterios (No Disqualification): The Mysterios got off to a quick start with both Rey and Dominik hitting big early dives before a top-rope crossbody from Dominik on Finn Balor for an early two-count. After some quick tags by the Mysterios, Balor and Damian Priest finally got control on Dominik. Balor and Priest kept Dominik isolated, working over the younger Mysterio until he was finally able to make the hot tag to Rey. Rey went with the high-speed attack, hitting several lightning-quick moves, including a sliding dive with a chair to the outside on Balor. After Balor got back into the match, he ate a top-rope rana from Rey before Priest broke up the pin. As the Mysterios had the match seemingly in hand, Rhea Ripley interfered to attack Rey and set up Priest to hit South of Heaven. Balor called for a chair, but the lights went out and Edge made his return, storming to the ring and hitting spears on both Balor and Priest to help set up a double 619 on Balor for Rey and Dominik to score the win. The match was nothing special and the ring ropes were extremely loose, causing some issues throughout, but the return of Edge gave it something memorable. The Mysterios def. The Judgement Day via pinfall
Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin: As Corbin jawed at McAfee, McAfee hit him with a superkick. Things would turn bad quickly for McAfee, however, after he was shoved off the top rope, did a backflip and taunted Corbin only for Corbin to dropkick him in the chest. Corbin ran McAfee around ringside, slamming him into the barricades several times before throwing him back into the ring for a near fall. Corbin again nearly won the match after hitting Deep Six. After McAfee nearly battled back with a dive over the top rope, Corbin reversed momentum and threw McAfee onto the announce table. McAfee hit his leap to the top rope for a superplex, though not without some issues with landing on his knees first, and began to take advantage of Corbin mistakes before a swanton to the outside onto a standing Corbin. McAfee accidentally sent Corbin into the referee but took advantage of the situation with a kick to Corbin's groin before hitting a code red for the win. This got very clunky down the stretch, in no small part due to the ring ropes being both loose and slippery, which appeared to cause several issues for McAfee. Pat McAfee def. Happy Corbin via pinfall
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship -- The Usos (c) vs. The Street Profits (special guest referee Jeff Jarrett): The Usos controlled the action early by isolating Angelo Dawkins as Jarrett stuck to standard enforcement of the rules. Dawkins eventually made the tag to Montez Ford, who took over on Jey Uso, capping off his offense with a standing blockbuster. After the Usos fought back against Ford, Dawkins got the tag and hit a flipping dive over the top rope as the Profits grabbed control once again. The Usos would again go on a run, hitting both a solo and a tandem Uso Splash on Dawkins, but not being able to score the pin. Jey nearly hit Jarrett with a superkick and Jarrett spun him into a slam from Dawkins, leading to Ford hitting a frog splash for a near fall. Ford was frustrated with Jarrett's count and the momentary distraction allowed the Usos to counter his suicide dive with tandem superkicks before dumping him into the front row. The Usos then hit Dawkins with a pair of superkicks and the 1-D for the win. This wasn't anywhere near as good as the match between the teams at Money in the Bank but was still a solid bout between two elite tag teams. The Usos (c) def. The Street Profits via pinfall
Riddle and Seth Rollins brawled after Riddle showed up and said that he didn't care if he wasn't medically cleared to compete and called out Rollins. The two brawled in the entryway before ending up in the ring where Rollins hit Riddle with a stomp as WWE officials tried to stop him.
SmackDown Women's Championship -- Liv Morgan (c) vs. Ronda Rousey: Rousey took the fight right to Morgan, hitting some punches, a jumping knee and a slam. Morgan tried to fight back but got kicked in the stomach for her trouble. Morgan managed to hit a codebreaker but was slammed again by Rousey before Rousey went for an armbar. Morgan managed to turn the armbar into the Rings of Saturn and then a crucifix driver for a near fall on Rousey. Rousey did manage to lock in an armbar, but Morgan escaped to the ropes before having to do the same seconds later when Rousey locked in the armbar again. The referee threatened to stop the match but Morgan pleaded for him to not. Rousey again locked in the armbar and this time Morgan stacked Rousey and the referee counted to three despite Morgan tapping out. Rousey attacked Morgan after the match, locking in another armbar before taking down the referee with a hip toss and locking in an armbar on him as well. Just a weird ending that makes the face look weak as she clearly did not deserve the win. So, not only was Morgan dominated but she now is not a deserving champion. Liv Morgan (c) def. Ronda Rousey via pinfall
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship -- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Brock Lesnar (Last Man Standing): Lesnar drove a tractor to the ring and got the early jump on Reigns during the introductions, diving onto Reigns off the tractor. Lesnar took Reigns outside the ring and hit a belly-to-belly suplex off the ring steps before dumping Reigns over the ringside barricade. Lesnar continued dominating Reigns, throwing him against the lighting rigging before taking him back to ringside for a German suplex. Reigns finally got some offense going with a Samoan drop through a table after a distraction by Paul Heyman. Reigns put Lesnar through another table, again drawing a count from the referee. In the ring, Reigns hit a Superman punch that only dropped Lesnar to one knee. A second Superman punch also didn't keep Lesnar down, leading Reigns to hit a spear to initiate another count. Lesnar slammed Reigns into one of the already broken tables before moving the tractor. Lesnar then nearly scored the win after hitting Reigns with a piece of the table. When Reigns got to his feet, Lesnar grabbed him and threw him in the front loader attached to the tractor, driving it back to ringside and dumping Reigns back into the ring.
A series of German suplexes by Lesnar led to a near 10-count. Reigns then beat another count after an F-5 from Lesnar. Reigns countered the next F-5 attempt with a guillotine choke, but Lesnar powered out and locked in his own guillotine. Lesnar choked Reigns out, but Reigns regained consciousness before the referee's count hit 10. Lesnar then got back in the tractor and lifted up an entire corner of the ring, sending Reigns rolling to the outside for yet another count. The Usos then jumped Lesnar, though he was able to fight both men off before Heyman begged Lesnar to stop attacking Reigns. Lesnar put Heyman through the commentary table with an F-5 before Reigns hit Lesnar with a spear. Both men beat the count before collapsing. Theory's music hit and he ran to ringside and dropped Reigns with the briefcase before trying to cash in the Money in the Bank contract. Lesnar hit Theory with an F-5 before Theory could cash in and the Usos both superkicked Lesnar. Lesnar beat a count after a spear from Reigns, but Reigns then used Theory's briefcase to attack Lesnar. Lesnar again beat the count so Reigns hit him with the WWE championship belt and Lesnar again beat the count. Reigns then used the universal title belt to hit Lesnar. Reigns and the Usos then buried Lesnar under debris from around the ring to score the win. Brock Lesnar lifted the ring using a tractor. What more could you want from a wrestling match? Roman Reigns (c) def. Brock Lesnar to retain the undisputed championship.
